About Cody
Cody believes that coaching is ultimately a partnership in problem-solving: coming up flexible solutions, knowing when and how to push harder, and providing encouragement along the way. As a former D1 track and field athlete-turned coach, Cody has worked with champions across multiple sports and events, and applies the same coaching principles to his Future clients. He takes the concept of life outside of work literally, and spends as much time outside as possible—on hikes, by the pool, or at the lake.

"Gaining muscle requires one specific thing, mechanical tension. I will identify the optimal exercise and manage the appropriate loading across the weeks and months to build muscle. In addition to technical instruction, training for hypertrophy is about identifying the proper balance of volume and intensity, as well as varying those two over time to allow for progress and prevent accommodation. Ultimately, my job is to encourage consistency with training stimulus, as well as help instill an environment through lifestyle and nutrition that supports training gains."
